This week, Brightstar unveiled its freshly renovated and expanded swimming facilities to our students. Swimming lesson will forever be more enjoyable and safer for our students! Students are protected from the elements and the ultraviolet rays produced by the sun by our recently installed roof. Swimming is an excellent sport for children of all ages since it helps to build their coordination and motor skills while also strengthening their muscles. It is of course great fun and an enjoyable activity that our students look forward to each week. Every child shines like a star at Brightstar.

At Brightstar, we appreciate the significance of subjects other than English, maths and science. We also encourage the development of Gross and Fine motor skills. Gross motor skills are those that involve substantial muscle movements, such as sitting independently, walking, jumping or sprinting. Fine motor skills, such as gripping, object manipulation, and sketching, are very important to a child’s development.
Which is why we engage students in a huge range of weekly activities to build and develop all of these skills and abilities.

Brightstar’s early years programme uses the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC).

Our students benefit from varied educational opportunities with each successive Learning Block.
Students in the first learning block are engaged in activities like learning each other’s names, studying the human body, creating a self-portrait, making artwork using their hands and feet, and investigating their emotions. The unit “All about me!” is designed to capture a child’s curiosity and deepen their understanding.

Brightstar students are diving headfirst into campus life here in the first few weeks of the term.
Outdoor activities like learning stations, physical education, and swimming complement indoor interests like digital classrooms, Arts and crafts, Maths, and Dance lessons in our programme of activities. Students are busy enjoying the various aspects of school life, but we always take the time to ensure students recognise and celebrate special moments, such as the birthdays of their classmates and friends.

The Brightstar youngsters received a lesson in concrete mathematics today. We are really impressed with what they have accomplished already because it is not an easy assignment for young children to understand when first learning about it. To further develop their motor skills and encourage the use of their imagination and creativity, they also participated in sensory exercises.
