Today the students did science experiment to understand how matter changes its state. They did this by taking ice moulds and melting them. Then filled balloons with different objects to learn about different states of matter. Maybe they can do some experiments at home too!

Our early year students demonstrated the pull and push action in IEYC. They also studied things that fly, played with some bubble wands and made a balloon face with crafts. They went outside to play some games on the football field and playground.

The grade 1 students are learning the life cycle of plants

It’s important for children to understand the senses and which organs in the body help with them. The Grade 1 students had fun learning and reviewing this knowledge through worksheets and even a song! Ask them to teach you as well! Plants and trees are so important for our planet. The grade 1 students are learning the life cycle of plants. They even planted their own seeds and will observe them growing in the following weeks. Why don’t you plant a seed with your child at home as well!

An exciting end to the week with year 5/6. The students turned into junior chefs and made pizzas from scratch and then shared with friends and teachers too! This fun activity encouraged students to follow instructions, learn different kinds of sentences used in recipes. Boosting their communication, creativity and confidence!

In IEYC, students are learning how to be adaptable, creative, better communicators and collaborators through the theme of “ Toys and Games”.

In IEYC, students are learning how to be adaptable, creative, better communicators and collaborators through the theme of “ Toys and Games”. Today at school, Nursery 2 students had new learning experiences by building a robot together, role-playing how to go to the ‘toy shop’ and ‘buying’ toys whilst reviewing vocabulary they have learnt in class.
