Children enrolled in our primary school will be ideally prepared for the trilingual languages with English as the main language, closely followed by Khmer and Chinese as additional languages. English is the language of instruction and communication at BISPP. To facilitate the most productive English language learning environment, and to help create a sense of harmony and unity, the use of English is compulsory throughout the school to the most practicable extent. Therefore, instructions provided to students at BISPP will be conducted in English in its formal form. In early years and elementary school, English will be used for instructions in all subjects. Khmer literacy will be taught 5 hours per week as required by the Cambodian national curriculum, and the Chinese language for another 5 hours a week: all pupils/students will be expected to speak Khmer and Chinese in these classes.
